Canadian textile company Gildan will expand Honduran production site
Gildan, a Montreal-based supplier of active wear for the wholesale sportswear market announced plans to build its third textile plant in Honduras. The capital cost of the new facility, which will be constructed in fiscal 2008 and fiscal 2009, is expected to be in the range of $100 million to $110 million and will produce more than 50 million dozen socks and other sportswear.
